I used to love drawing as a kid. But during Highschool, I kind of stopped enjoying it. I realize now that I was too worried about the final outcome, rather than enjoying the process. I remember why now, when I was young, I used to draw for hours.

V-tech just kicked in yo! 1/125 of a second and I still didn't manage to get him sharp.

Welcome home

My mum is home today from a long break. Ten minutes back and she can't resist cleaning up. Apparently me and my sister were rubbish at keeping the house tidy. I don't know how she does it.

I helped, of course.

Lenzie Academy 2010

Well that's that. It's finally ended. Getting up every morning at 7.30 and pulling myself out my bed to go to school. All the stress and worry and pressure. I've been saying all the time that I can't wait to leave, but now I'd do anything to bring back those memories. There's still so much that I have left yet to do. But i'm still happy with the way things have finished. I'm honestly going to miss everyone, and I hope to keep in touch with you.

April 25 street photography

It was such a miserable day, I wasn't feeling it.

Landscapes

These were taken a while ago on a walk around my area. It weather was so nice that day. There are fields not very from from the suburban estate than I live in.
I love how I spend my Saturday nights editing photos.

Camera

This came through the door this morning,

Knew straight away what it was. The Olympus Trip 35 :) I ordered it on Friday from Ebay, and came this Tuesday morning. It's in perfect condition, and everything seems to work.
This is the film I use.Compared to my Olympus E-520 DSLR (sorry for the quality of the photos, these were taken with my phone)

It came with the original manual, lens cap, skylight filter and a really old case. I'll probably replace the rubbery body with leather and buy a new case for it. I've already ran a roll of film through it full of random shots, just to test it. Especially since the light filters seem to be missing. I'm going to ask my photography teacher to develop them and see how they come out.

Glasgow Botanic Gardens

It's funny, I must've passed this place 2 million times when I was a kid, but I think this is the first time i've been inside. I spent the day here, with Paul and his girlfriend, Heather. We didn't have much time to take pictures since it was closing a couple of hours after we arrived (I was late, sorry guys heh) but I guess I managed to get a couple of good shots, even at this time of the day - around midday - where the quality of light is rubbish.
Yeah the place is full of plants, but I don't really enjoy shooting flowers if i'm honest; most of them tend to look the same/cliché, and they're not exactly exciting.
The photo of the dog isn't technically very good, but it was an awesome dog.
Also, i've started shooting purely in RAW, kinda kickin' myself for not doing that sooner.






It was so cold that night, all I had on was a vest and a thin jacket.
